John Higgins Weatherguard
The goal was to bridge the dual identity of Weatherguard's roofing expertise and their unique connection to the sporting world. The animation displays double meanings, like the whistle representing being "ready for the call" when a storm hits. I'm proud of this animation because of the problem-solving I did to morph the cloud into a whistle.

Hollywood Candy
As an Omaha fan-favorite, Hollywood Candy needed an animation that matched its nostalgic, playful energy. This animation highlights my ability to build character and personality from static assets. Their bear didn't have eyes, but I needed to create them to make him wink. My starting point was a PNG image, so I had a lot of work to do in Illustrator to recreate the logo and prepare the layers for animation. I used a bounce expression on the typography to amplify the brand's whimsical, candy-shop feel.
The Retirement Guys
The Retirement Guys "Roadmap to Retirement" podcast needed a high-energy YouTube intro to hook viewers and make the brand's financial expertise feel approachable and engaging. Instead of just animating a logo, I chose to integrate the podcast's topic into the logo itself. Another idea I explored for the intro was animating an illustrated watercolor map with locations related to retirement planning, such as Contingency Cove or Benefit Bridge.
Cornhusker State Games
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Cornhusker State Games, I created a 15-second intro for their Athlete of the Year highlight videos. The climax of the opening ceremonies is the cauldron-lighting, which celebrates an Olympic tradition. During my research, I was inspired by an Olympic torch lighting where an archer shot a flaming arrow into the cauldron. The path of the spark in the beginning of the animation mimics an arrow's flight.

Prairie Construction
Prairie Construction needed a clean, professional signature for their corporate video projects. I used simple trim paths to draw the viewer's eye across the screen, transitioning from the grass icon to the typography. I chose this animation to show that I know when to be subtle. Sometimes the most effective design is the one that stays out of its own way and just looks professional and polished.

Keep Fremont Beautiful
This animation was designed as a versatile asset for Keep Fremont Beautiful's website, social media, email signatures, videos, and educational presentations. I wrote code using AI to ensure the flower head perfectly followed the curving, growing path of the stem. I also created a document explaining different file formats, such as MP4 and GIF, and walked the client through using their new animation on different platforms.
Mangelsen's
Mangelsen’s is another Omaha icon, and I got to give their logo a holiday makeover. I intertwined Christmas lights through the letters using masks and adding a soft pulsing glow to the lights for a warm and cozy feel. Designed for a seasonal CTV commercial, this animation was created to drive social media engagement and brand awareness.
